Winter Cooking

I had the opportunity today to raid my friend's garden and bring home some lovely winter vegies. Turnip, swede, daikon radish, rainbow silverbeet and tuscan kale.

Tonight's dinner is a casserole with cumberland pork sausages, potato, turnip, swede and carrot in a tomato sauce with thyme and pepper. Served with sauteed silverbeet and pine nuts, seasoned with nutmeg and garlic, and a squeeze of lemon.

Yummy!
